Specialized Onsite Services Inc. was conceived in May 2012 by Cameron Monk. Cam is the president and owner of Specialized Onsite Services Incorporated and has managed the remediation of over 300 contaminated properties in Ontario, Quebec and Eastern Canada. Cameron has designed and managed remedial action plans, remediating soil and groundwater contamination at more than 200 residential, commercial and industrial properties. In addition, he has performed over 150 Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments at various residential, commercial and industrial properties. He has contributed to a number of peer reviews and critical reviews of remediation projects for property owners and legal counsel (see Cam's CV).
Throughout Cam's career in the Environmental field since 2001 and the construction industry prior to that, it was very apparent that clients were frustrated with the lack contact throughout a project to discuss the entire site. As such, SOS has been designed around those needs. As a resource company, SOS Inc. has the capabilities of organizing, carrying out construction and remediation tasks well being able to provide the technical support to address environmental concerns for the same project. Such projects would include but are not limited to asbestos abatement, mould remediation, underground tank removals, fuel oil spill remediation's, Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, designated substance surveys and project coordination for separate engineering firms. SOS Inc. does provide all technical reporting signed and stamped by a Qualified Person (QP) as required.
